In any case, there are a few sorts of nourishment that shouldn’t be put away in the refrigerator because they tend to loose their flavor. There are situations where refrigerating foods make it rotten quicker. This is the rundown foods you unquestionably should not refrigerate.
Potatoes: When too cold, starches found in potatoes turn to sugar, yielding an off flavor. Keep potatoes stored in a paper bag in a cool, dry place same goes for sweet potatoes.

Apples: Apples, just like tomatoes, start to change colour and loose flavor after spending time in the fridge. Leave them on the counter, and toss them in the fridge for 30 minutes prior to eating if you want a crisp bite.

Onions: The best place for onions is in a basket or paper bag; plastic bags promote moisture and speed decay process. Kept in a cool, dark cabinet or drawer. If stored in the fridge, they soften, spoil and impart an oniony scent on nearby foods.

Bananas: Leave your bananas on the counter, and if you have to refrigerate, do that just for a space of 5seconds or less. Bananas are easy to decay under very cold temperature.

Tomatoes: Tomatoes actually start losing their flavor when you leave for too long. The best way to preserve your tomatoes is to grind and steam. If you would rather not grind, leave them on the counter and use when they start to show sign of paleness. It’s best not to buy your tomatoes in large quantities to avoid storing for longer.

Salads: Most salad dressing especially ones that are vinegar or oil-based should be kept outside the fridge. It’s advised you dress the quantity of salad you can consume, left overs cannot be refrigerated.

Garlic: Store your garlic in a paper bag, keep in a cool dark spot, and it will hold its wonderful flavor over weeks.

Peppers: Red, green, yellow, and even chili peppers are just fine stored in a paper bag in a cool cupboard or drawer. If you must refrigerate don’t keep more than a day or two. This ensures it retains its natural taste.
