House Of Dabira

Folu Ajayi made a very ‘colourful’ first impression on us with the outfit she designed for Dakore Akandewhich she wore to the 2015 African Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA). The 21 year old won the Zinkata Red Carpet Challenge. She has this year to prove if she would be a household name or not.

Maxivive

Papa Oyeyemi of Maxivive, showed some interesting pieces during LFDW, with traditional pieces in ‘agbada’  to more designed cuts to its rainy collection like cellophane pants and top. His pieces have been making rounds in the fashion industry in all their eccentricity and we hope this year shows more from the brand.

Titi Bello

At  Lagos Fashion and Design Week 2016, Titi Bello showcased her Spring/ Summer 2016 collection. The collection features thigh-high split skirts, cropped tops, mini-dresses, playsuits and more in the softest hues. We feel Titilayo Shotile-Belo has finally gotten her tone, she has created the edgy, eccentric and sexy woman.

House of Kaya

The hijabs, flowing gowns and detailed embroidery. House of Kaya collection was a nice change on theLFDW runway as the brand showcased stylish pieces ideal for a more modest crowd. We can’t wait to see what 2016 holds.
