“Rumour Has It” NdaniTv’s Newest Show Is Quite Scandalous

NdaniTV constantly blesses us with amazing web series, and we will continue to be grateful. The channel as given us series like Gidi Up filled with drama, and Skinny Girl In Transit for the giggles, and now we have a show that promises to be even better – Rumour Has It.

So What’s Rumour Has It About?

The web series tells the story of Celebrity Vlogger, Obi Obi (played by Uru Eke). Obi is at the top of her game, known as the Queen of internet gossip, and has made a living for herself off spreading rumors about celebrities. Iis this going to be a Nigerian version of Gossip Girl? No, I’m extremely pleased to say it isn’t. In fact, these people let us know right off the pilot episode that they aren’t here to play no games.

Admittedly, the first episde seemed to drag on. But I imagine it’s because they don’t want to give too much away. I mean, it’s already a pretty powerful opening for a show. Within the first 6 minutes, we’re already thrown right into the drama. And yes, there are questions like “Why did the friend decide to settle on the radio station tlking about the terrible news when she passed several that were playing music?”. But whos’s to say all that isn’t some sort of literary device?

I’m looking forward to following this one mostly because of the teaser. What happens when someone who feeds on scandals has to deal with one of her very own? We definitely can’t wait to see.
