Osa7 is an Urban GFX and Graffiti Artist with a degree in Visual Communications from the University of Lagos. He uses contemporary art as an avenue for story telling with tools such as stencils, spray paint, epoxy, varnish, paper, and boards. He is not afraid to disrupt spaces that allow him express his creativity.

Osa’s work ranges from portraits of iconic characters, to scenic images, brand designs, abstract art, and tribal art designs that appeal to the human emotions. He also creates art installations using materials that can be recycled – kegs, bottle covers, recharge cards, etc. His artwork is based on his imagination, how he views the world, and people that he finds inspirational or that have a brilliant story worth knowing.

Heavily involved in promoting social causes and raising awareness on different societal issues. He is part of a growing collective and he has put his major source of creative outlet to influence the way the community around him sees the world. He shares discussion about is form of art at the prestigious Goethe Institute in Lagos. He contributes to the ‘Worm Free Zone’ Campaign for kids, and works closely with The AMG Project on their self-sufficient toilets build across rural schools.

He has an extensively portfolio having worked with brands such as Globacom, MTV Base, Diageo, Chicken Republic, Live Mechanic, and Empire Mates Entertainment. Popular for works like his Live Graffiti Art Performance on the MTV Base, Guinness #MADEOFBLACK Campaign, #TheSpecialOne Brand launch for Guinness Africa Special, and the award winning SUPERSTAR Album Art for Wizkid. His recent project would be the first time he would showcase in a public space. Osa7 is just another reason why the creative industry is soaring and a cornerstone in the Nigerian economy.

His recent exhibition ‘7th Element’ is a platform that showcases graffiti artists across Nigeria as well as the evolution of graffiti. To Osa art is not a thing, it is a way. A way that has been paved with unique art works and a mindset to give the artist everywhere a voice through his preferred medium.
